We are the proud descendants of
Hayes and Susan Porterfield
Hayes Porterfield, Sr. was born in Tennessee; Susan in North Carolina. Hayes married Susan Porterfield in 1896 to which 10 children were born: Moses, Hayes, Rosa, Beatrice, Tom, Henry, Sidney, Nancy, Lovett, and Macey. The family settled in Shelby County in Tennessee.
Many offspring have been born to this union and are spread throughout the United States, although many still reside in Memphis, Tennessee. Visit our 'Family History' page for each of their stories and our family tree.
